THE LAB
The Lab aspect of our practice is as the term suggests - a place of investigation and analysis, of hypothesis and experiment. It describes the approach we take to all our work but is also the key to another facet of our output - ideas, conceptual programming and organizational strategies developed as strategic communications documents. We use traditional design practices such as prototyping, charettes (essentially visual brainstorming) and sketching, in conjunction with research, consultation and analysis to stimulate dialogue and broaden the focus of a problem. Making the dialogue "visual" allows a team to tackle a problem by engaging in open, energized discussions without prescribed outcomes. Problems are framed and reframed, giving rise to new possibilities that engender new positions, products, services and ideas.
